• About Me

  I am a Senior Fellow at Construx Software, where I regularly provide consulting and training services in software process, software configuration management, and software construction.I am originally from the Dominican Republic, "you know, the land of baseball players". In 1993, I co-founded CAM Informatica, a CMMI level 2 software development organization in which I ran the technical division for more than 10 years. I completed my Ph.D. coursework at Rochester Institute of Technology as well as an earlier Master of Science in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.   TWIMES stands for "The World In My EyeS", a song title from the rock band Depeche Mode. I chose this acronym since the first time I tried blogging back in 2005.

  In this blog I usually post my thoughts about aspects in software engineering, life, social politics, and anything I understand worth sharing.
